The Austrian Space Days are a central European platform to connect the local space industry with international players, discuss current developments and identify future business potential.
The Austrian Space Days 2026 will be hosted by accent Inkubator and Brimatech - in cooperation with ESA, the Federal Ministry Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure Republic of Austria (BMIMI), the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the Austrian Economic Chambers (WKÖ), and the province of Lower Austria - on October 14 & 15 at the Vienna Airport Conference Center in Austria.
The themes of the conference
The Austrian Space Days 2026 will be dedicated to a new industrial reality: space is evolving from a research-driven field to a scalable industry with clear design, production and value creation principles. Europe – and Austria in particular – plays a vital role in this evolution.
The motto "Industrialization by Design" describes this change: space systems are designed for scalability, reliability and cost-effectiveness from the start, away from one-off productions and towards industrial products.
International speakers will shed light on the transformation of the space industry towards platform architectures, series production, in orbit manufacturing, and software-defined systems. The second day of the event – in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber – will focus on synergies with the automotive industry, especially in the areas of scaling, quality assurance and platform economy.
How to join the event
The conference should be attended by innovators in the space community in Austria and Europe, such as: CEOs and decision-makers, top and middle management, representatives of the European space industry, agencies, science, and politics.
Parallel to the conference programme, there will be a showcase of local key players and start-ups. All coffee breaks and lunches will take place directly in the exhibition area.
Participation in the Austrian Space Days 2026 is free of charge. The full event programme will be published in the next months: on the event's official website it is possible to subscribe a newsletter for receiving updates about keynotes, panels and exhibitors.
