For the first time, the StartupItalia Open Summit format lands in Turin: an Italian city that has been able to transform its industrial heritage into an engine of technological, scientific and cultural innovation.
From manufacturing and automotive capital, Turin is today an advanced laboratory for deep tech, life sciences, aerospace, smart mobility, next-generation telecommunications, high performance computing, quantum and artificial intelligence applied to industry. A place where all these souls converge, creating a unique ecosystem in the European landscape, capable of anticipating and leading the technological and social challenges of the future.
According to StartupItalia, this evolution opens the door for Generation Beta, the first to inhabit an environment completely permeated by AI, automation and digitization. This scenario redefines innovation as a dynamic process, focused on the ability to learn, adapt and collaborate. Turin, with its ecosystem of start-ups, companies and academic institutions of excellence, is shaping up to be a reference point for those who imagine a future in which technology and human skills evolve in synergy.
Digital Renaissance is not only the theme of this stage, but represents a real paradigm of digital and cultural rebirth, where technology and creativity meet to outline a sustainable future. Turin proves that innovation is not only a matter of technological progress, but also of strategic vision, entrepreneurial culture and ability to imagine new horizons.
In addition to industrial and infrastructural innovation, Turin is confirmed as one of the most promising hubs for the development of the space economy and life sciences. Thanks to the presence of incubation programs such as ESA BIC Turin - run by I3P, the Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico di Torino - and acceleration programs such as Takeoff, the city hosts an ecosystem in strong synergy with large multinationals in the space sector, creating concrete opportunities for entrepreneurs, researchers and investors. But Turin is also increasingly recognized as a true deep-tech city, with an advanced hub for the development of advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMP), both in cell and gene therapy, that builds on scientific excellence and expertise in the area.
Organized by StartupItalia in collaboration with the City of Turin and Politecnico di Torino, SIOS25 Summer will represent a key event in charting the state of the art of the Italian innovative sector. The day of Wednesday, June 11, will be divided into two parts: the morning will feature thematic workshops by the Chamber of Commerce of Turin and by LINKS Foundation, while in the afternoon the usual appointment with the Main Stage and its guests will return, where an Investment Report for the first half of 2025 will be presented and analyzed.
Politecnico di Torino will also host the Innovation Village, with exposure of start-ups and ecosystem players such as I3P and ESA BIC Turin, which will be accompanied by a selection of young innovative companies from their networks. Among the ones from the community of ESA BIC Turin: Evolunar, LOKI, Mespac and ORiS.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. until late afternoon, in attendance at various spaces of Politecnico di Torino, the polytechnic university accessible from its main entrance at Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24 in Turin.
