Startup for Beginners, the event series created by OGR Torino in collaboration with Talent Garden, is designed to train new entrepreneurs in the area by presenting success stories and offering concrete tools for developing project ideas.
On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, a new event of the series will be held in collaboration with I3P, the Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, and ESA BIC Turin, the incubation program for space start-ups run by I3P in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), Politecnico di Torino, LINKS Foundation and other industry partners.
The meeting is aimed at students, researchers and young professionals interested in transforming skills and visions into entrepreneurial paths, with direct support from key players in the local ecosystem. The event will present the experience of Kurs Orbital, an I3P-incubated start-up and ESA BIC Turin alumni active in the development of rendezvous and docking technologies, with the goal of enabling a new era of in-orbit satellite management and maintenance and space logistics.
Speakers at the event will include:
Roberto Morano, Head of Communications at Kurs Orbital;
Simone Ripandelli, Program Manager at Kurs Orbital;
Ludovico Del Carretto, Business Consultant at I3P and ESA BIC Turin.
The meeting, which will be held in Italian language, will provide an opportunity to learn first-hand about a cutting-edge project in the aerospace sector, find out how a deep-tech venture is born, and engage with those working to make space increasingly accessible and sustainable.
The event will conclude with a networking moment open to all participants.
Attendance is free, subject to online registration.
